Shaped from Portuguese grogged stoneware, this wax melter carries the quiet honesty of its material — rough to the touch, warm in tone, and marked by the small variations that come from working by hand. The upper vessel is glazed on the inside for easy cleaning and reuse — simply remove the cooled wax and swap scents as often as you like.

Wheel-thrown and finished by hand.

This wax melter is compatible with standard tealight candles and most wax melts.

Place a tealight in the base, add your wax melt to the dish above, and allow the heat to gently release the fragrance.

Once cooled, the glazed interior makes it easy to remove the wax and switch to a new scent.
To clean the exterior wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth.

Keep on a heat-safe surface while in use. The unglazed base may leave a faint mark on very delicate surfaces — a small cork or felt pad underneath is recommended.
Maker's Note

Each piece begins on the wheel and is finished by hand. The glaze is mixed in the studio and varies slightly with every firing — this is the nature of the process, and part of what makes your piece yours.
